I know! Every three year old endurance horse prospect that has any justification for calling it an endurance prospect (parents' accomplishments, pedigree, conformation, disposition, etc.) that's for sale should really *start* at around $5000 (that's for those who live in places like I do where you actually could feed a horse for $75/month, farrier, vet, etc. on top of that) and at $5000 for a coming 4 year old endurance prospect, that still might be only be a break-even price for breeders.
