[RC] boots for trail riding - A. Perez

Seems like people are pretty casual about riding footwear
these days. I regularly ride in cheap running shoes. They are
big enough that it is unlikely that I could get my foot through
the stirrup (one can use a cage, or safety stirrups, if worried
about that), and they are light, comfortable, cheap and dry
fairly quickly. I also ride in a pair of cheap short lace-up
leather boots not designed for riding (though they look like
'paddock' boots.

One of the first thing that attracted me to endurance is the
fact that people are not hung up on clothing!
