[RC] ez boots - Agilbxr

Ok, next new person question. Alpine is barefoot right now (I love $20 farrier
visits....), but when it cools down a bit and I start riding more, I'll have to
put shoes on. I ride his feet off and my farrier yells, and Alpine gets shoes.
I have no problem with this as a rule.

I would like to get an ez boot just in case during our first 50 we lose a shoe.
But how do you practice with an ez boot? I'd hate to get one, lose a shoe in
our ride, then figure out on the trail by myself for the first time how to put
one on, and find out that it makes Alpine lame by bruising his heel. You can't
ride a horse with just one ez boot, but theoretically, I guess I could get two
just to practice with and only put them on the front feet. (He's never had to
have shoes on the rear feet). I wonder what ez boots do to paso gait? Shoes
make him do weird things with his feet for the first week or so when he's been
barefoot awhile.

Things to ponder in the Florida heat when it's way too freakin' hot to ride....
