They do work much better than regular coolers. We
went to a Memorial Day ride in south TX and there was NO ICE left in any of the
coolers by the time we arrived [5 hour drive] except the Extreme. Makes
all other coolers look like day-trip only coolers ;-)

I just bought one of those "Extreme" coolers that
are supposed to keep ice frozen for at least 5 days so am hoping
that will get me through a multi-day ride .
