[RC] Gold Country Ride Saturday July 10th - Jim Holbrook

If you are planning on coming to the Gold Country Ride this weekend, we want to let you know that we will be assigning camping spots.  We had an original limit of 85 riders, but, because of the overwelming interest we have had in the ride, we are trying to accommodate everyone.  Our limiting factor is our campground.  If we assign camping spaces, we hope to fit 130 riders in.  We have around 110 entries with a waiting list of around 25 so far, so we are trying to make this all work for everyone.  So, when you arrive at the entrance to the park, there will be a person who will ask you some information.  If you want to park with friends, we will ask you how many friends are coming (how many rigs), and we will assign an area to you that will accommodate you and your friends.  We will show you what your boundaries are in the area and how we suggest you park everyone.  If you are the first one to arrive from your group, we will take down the names of your friends and send them to the campspot when they arrive. If you are camping by yourself, we will take you to your spot.  There will be someone camping close by, so you will quickly make friends!  We are hoping that everyone will cooperate with us and agree (with a smile on their face) to park where they are told to park. If you are planning on arriving on Thursday, please come down to the south end of the park (if it is before dark) and find me.  I will be there after 4:00. I will then assign you a space to park.  If you arrive after dark, just find a space (but park conservatively).  The weather is supposed to be cooler and it should be a great weekend.  We look forward to seeing you all.
