[RC] Re homemade hi-ties - Lani M Olson

Be careful if having a welder do a homemade hi-tie and get a firm quote.  I was quoted $100 labor and materials, but my Exiss trailer has a dropped ceiling to keep it cool.  To get the hi-tie to the top of the trailer they actually had to removed and replace the interior panels - all said and done cost me over $300.  But the guy did a wonderful job, it looks good and it's solid.
