More people might want to look at Morgan's for endurance prospects. My
mare is too heavily built for fast rides, but she has a 10 mile an hour walk,
a great mile eating, extended trot, huge cannon bones and large hard feet. My
husband's Morgan would be a great endurance horse, he isn't heavily
muscled and has the same ground covering gaits, feet and legs.
