Re: [RC] How many saddles do folks buy for endurance? - Tina Hicks

Lessee, started out in 1996 with a Passier 3-day eventing saddle. Didn't know it didn't fit (had even ridden 3 50s in it passing with all As on back) till my horse shed out with white spots on his withers one spring :(

So, realized that there was such a thing as Saddle Fit and then The Great Saddle Hunt began. Here's a list, best as I can piece it together, of the saddles I've been through, and lost money on <g>, over the years:

Wintec All-Purpose
Crosby Paragon
DeSoto
Rocking-R
Sports Saddle (two different times, 3 different models)
Synergist
Anne George
Sharon Saare County Competitor
Big Horn Cordura Western Saddle (still have it - it's the cheapest saddle by far and the one most likely to fit the widest variety of horses - go figure)

Currently riding in a Reactor Panel which I and my horse love :)
