Re: [RC] one more link - Bette Lamore

I feel compelled to say one thing here. As many of you "old-timers" know, I have been the recipient of some of the flame wars of Heidi's in the past and I received the links ages ago from sympathetic ridecampers who did not want to see me take her hurtful remarks too seriously. Even then, although revenge might have flickered ever so briefly across my mind, I resisted the temptation to post them.
Why? Because I believe what goes around, comes around. IF someone (and I am NOT referring to Heidi here--- just in general-- I haven't visited the web sites nor do I plan to) does something hurtful or stupid or just makes the mistakes that all of us do once in a while, it comes back to them. AND I believe if we take glee in watching the retribution, I believe we get "karma" or retribution or whatever you want to call it just as strongly as the person we are taking delight in watching suffer.
So.. I am saying---- 'nuff said! I missed the initial post with the links and only got them again because of people responding to the initial post. I vote for moving on and dropping this thread.
Thanks
Bette and Bunny (who has now started wearing sunglasses--- stardom is going to his head!)

Cora, I don't know who you are or what your ulterior

\Same with MDs. It's why they call it "practicing
medicine." It's not a perfect science.

And I dont' believe this has anything to do with this
endurance forum. I'm sure every single person on this
forum has some skeleton in a close that he or she
hopes will stay there. I would imagine that even
includes you!

This is just plain ugliness, Cora.

This concerns everyone of us...there is not one of
us who does not want the best for our horses...we

Have to come out of 'lurking' status on this
one. What is the point of dragging all of this out? To put down & discredit someone who has generously
shared her expertise with us? To try & discourage
her from this list & ostracize her from the
endurance family? Ever heard that 'he who is w/o sin can cast the
first stone'? I suspect there's not a one of us who
doesn't have something in some area of our lives
that we'd just as soon not have broadcast around the
world. Good for you, Heidi, for putting mistakes behind
you & getting on with life. I wish you the best!

We are talking about all the tools we can use to keep our horses safe and
alive at the rides. Training/conditioning is one of the best tools
available. It makes us better horseman and women, it benefits our horses
and could quite possibly be the key to preventing most crashes.
