My own newest horse could be a run away if I let him.  I have  the blisters
to prove it from a pair of 50's this weekend.  I did win though.  Will I
take this horse on a 100?  You better beleive it.  One of the strongest
animals I have ever been on.  But he also camps well, eats well, drinks
well, and travels well.  So I guess since he only has 300 miles I can work
on the rating thing for a few more thousand miles before I give up on him.
