Re: [RC] Endurance or what? - goearth

Angie, i AGREE, and Jesus said.."when 2 or more are together and agree, I am
present". I don't know what this is all about as i haven't kept up with it.
I like apples and oranges and pomegranates, grapes, kiwis etc. I used to
just love raspberry donuts and could eat 6 at a sitting and my dog Gandolf
ate 56 (we got them out of the Krispy Kreme dumpster), but these days i love
artichoke hearts, so all things in life change. Hope asked me a question
and i answered, Yes. Not sure what the proposed route she meant was but if
she was referring to the GAHR, it was between 12-60 miles a day and
sometimes 6 days a week. The roads and bridges of America was not fun,
especially in the East when you had to ride down freshly tarred roads and at
the end of the day had to deal with tar removal. If i could be free enough
to go away again and went on a 12 week ride i'd want to ride across Russia
or Eastern Europe or Canada or China, have had enough of America, but it was
an adventure, sort of like Viet Nam. Good and Bad. Lets have some fun and
have a PARTEE and AGREE. ts

But if i could go ride 25-35 miles a day for 12 weeks, it would
be fun to me. By Angies opinion, that would be Endurance. the main
character in my Grand Opera, SOLAR HARDWARE Epoch Dressage is Nemo (no
name)
riding an Infrared Horse named Omen (neither good or bad in its
connotation,
but rather a reflection of this thing with no name).

Aww, I's just messing with ya'll. I'm not at all sure what you said Tom,
but I'll say going on that sort of trip iwould definately require endurance,
and a very flexible job, and some money put back, and somebody to take care
of all the animals at home, and probably a great tolerance for vehicles and
riding along pavement but it's kind of beside the point in a discussion
about the "sport" of endurance. Apples and oranges (but both taste good)

Angie
