Thank you for posting this.  IMO it is only a few malcontents who keep stirring
the pot on this and bringing it up again and again.  Most people at AERC rides
are happy to ride their chosen distance, enjoy the day, and take pride in
accomplishing their personal goals (at whatever level they ride).
