[RC] HELP WET HORSE - Ridecamp Guest

I personally have never hesitated, in 22 years, to blanket a wet
horse. I also never had any issues with it, they either were dry
later, or at worst damp and warm. If you have a blanket that will
"pull" some of the moisture away, that is great. I would rather
not have them shivering, given my choice. Damp and warm is still
better then wet and cold. Just my experience in the NW anyhow.

Riding alone is when you teach a horse all the "tools" and "cues" he needs
to handle the trail, to hold a speed, deal with hills, etc. It's also where
you develop the "bond" that causes him to "defer" to you before losing his
cool.
