I have a Pointer (some people mistakenly call them English Pointers) and she loves going out with the horse. They can run all day. I usually don't take her with me during the summer because of the rattlesnakes.
My terriers would love to go along, but they are too cocky and would foolishly chase a coyote and become brunch.
