[RC] wireless camera for trailer and hauling a mare and young foal - Mike & Kathy Kelly

Thanks to everyone who replied - sounds like I can rig something up for much
less than $800!

Good thing, cuz I need to save my pennies. If all goes as planned I'm
picking up a new mare and filly (who will be about 2 mos old then) in WY
next month and bringing them home to AZ, a 1000 mile haul. I've never
hauled a mare and foal, and am trying to do what I can to make sure we
minimize stress and problems on the trip home.

So if anyone has advice for me on this issue, I'd appreciate that too!

I have a 2hs which I will take the divider out of. I will have a camera
rigged up by then. Planning on tying the mare in front and leaving the foal
loose. Will bed down well with straw. Frequent stops for water and
nursing. My biggest worry is our overnight stop in Santa Fe. I do have a
recommendation of a good place, but I wish it were close enough to make in
one day!
