[RC] Rider elytes - Linda Dewees

I'm a runner and this last year I've been taking  elyte capsules on my long runs and I think it really helps me feel less tired.  I think they'd be great on a long hot endurance ride as long as you make sure you're drinking enough.  If you're sweating a lot it's hard to get enough replacement  elytes in food and Gatorade, and the capsules are easy to take when you don't feel like eating much.  Experiment on training rides first, though.

I'm just getting back to reading Ridecamp after a long break and it's like coming home!  You guys are great!!  I'm so happy to see the same cast of characters.

I just did my first 50...running that is.  The American River people race on Apr. 3.  What a gorgeous place and I wish I had been on a horse!  The poison oak was so huge by Granite Bay I didn't even recognize it!

I'm going to work on getting my horses in shape now, I really am!

Good luck Becky Siler, and take elytes!  I'm the one who bought your sport saddle and it's all I use now.
