I agree, we don't need more rules, just follow the ones we have.  In
some of our PS desert rides, we do have checkpoints we have to go
through, but not just to stop cheating - it's also a safety issue so
management knows where we are & where the last horse is.

My husband, an 8th grade PE teacher & coach, says: "Cheaters never win &
winners never cheat,"

I vote for that one to go into the Great File of Ridecamp Quotes!

Riding alone is when you teach a horse all the "tools" and "cues" he needs
to handle the trail, to hold a speed, deal with hills, etc. It's also where
