Hi folks,

Looks like I'll be needing to take my gelding down to San Diego (from 
the Sunland/Burbank area) for a full lameness workup.

I don't have my own rig (forever mooching rides from really patient 
friends), so I'm wondering if there is anyplace that rents both trucks 
and trailers.   My Ford Explorer Sport would not be enough to safely 
pull a trailer, if I rented only the trailer.

I'm thinking that renting them and hauling my horse down myself would be 
less expensive than hiring a transport company, since he will have to 
stay overnight for a bone scan, which would mean two trips to pay a 
transport company for.

If anybody knows a place that rents both in the So Cal area, please let 
me know.
