[RC] Problem Child...the saga continues - Timothy Worden

A while back some may remember I posted about my
problem child Quarab, Poco. BTW, he just turned 6y/o
yesturday, April 14th. Well, the saga and struggle
continues with him. Poco was just diagnosed with a
side bone on his right front. My vet gave me the
x-rays to look at and take to the farrier, so I
decided to scan them and post them on my website. I
thought this may be of interest to many people. Some
vets may find these pics a good reference. And
perhaps I can get some words of encouragement from
those who have had to manage a horse with a side bone.
I had big plans and goals for this 15hh athletic
gelding, the biggest being 1-day 100s. I still hope I
can achieve some of them.

The whole ride experience can be very hard, and at times you question why
you put yourself through such abuse. But then you remember all those
moments when you pop up over a hill and are suddenly surrounded by the most
stunning views. It's just you and your horse and for a moment time stops
and you can hear the angels sing. Therein lies the addiction, at least for
me.
