[RC] ez boots in sand - Jon . Linderman

I opted to hold off on shoeing a few more weeks this year just in case our
usual April weather turns things into a quagmire in the paddocks. Anyhow,
taking my daughter to ride my friends horse w/me on a CTR & am planning on
foaming boots on like I do for trainig in the rocks prior to shoeing.
Course I am told is flat as a pancake & 98% sand. My horse is very used to
boots and although I am typing this w/a bit of foam residue stuck to my
fingers from yesterday, I'm pretty handy w/boots.

I've never tried ez boots in the sand. Any thoughts: good, bad, tips, etc.
My sand experience is limited to sneaking north to MI and I always had
shoes on.

Happy trails........

Jon
