Becky,. I have been using this type of fencing ever since I saw it in France where it kept large herds of various livestock contained.
I too love the ease of installation and ease of change.

I love the Horseguard electric fence.  My whole pasture is two strands with 12 ft between posts.  The designated corral is three strands.  Even my gates are made from the horseguard tape with hooks on them.  I used the green.  My horses respect it very well and it is pretty maintenance free.  Every once in awhile I may have to go tighten a droopy area, but that is a snap.  The really great thing was other than having the posts put in by a couple old cowboys who does this type of work for fishing money, I was able to put the rest of it up by myself.  I think it is a great product for any horse people who want to go electric.
