[RC] TEVIS ON WALKERI I - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I finished the Tevis in 77 on a five year old TWH George the wonder horse.
It's a wonder we didn't kill him. Would trot when tired,and was all heart. A
more nobel horse has never walked. This big guy carried myself and my dad L.D.
from Virginia to California. He would not recover like an Arab, but what a
ride. He lived to be 31 his last breathe was taken trying to stand up, we miss
him and will never forget him and everything he taught us. The Lewis family

===========================================================Riding alone is when
you teach a horse all the "tools" and "cues" he needs
to handle the trail, to hold a speed, deal with hills, etc. It's also where
you develop the "bond" that causes him to "defer" to you before losing his
cool.
