==========================================

Jim and Truman,

A horse in our yard was a chronic colicker and nobody could figure out why,
although it was generally presumed that he had ulcers. He was given a course
of milk of magnesia (100 mls per day in a syringe) for about a month. He's had
one or two gas colics in the last year, but nothing more than that, so it would
seem that, yes, it does work. Each time he's colicked, he's been treated with
finodyne and a drench, and then put on another course of M of M. Seems to put
him right.

===========================================================One would think that
logic would prevail. But then, if logic did prevail,
men would ride sidesaddle.
