[RC] Best saddles for under $1000 - sharp penny

If you prefer a *western* type endurance saddle check out
the Big Horn. I have been very pleased with mine. I bought
in here on endurance.net when I first decided to try
endurance for a whopping $250. I didn't want to shell out
alot of money..my current western saddles were very heavy
and the horn kept getting in my way. My plan was to upgrade
if I decided to continue to ride endurance..well so far I
haven't had a need to upgrade..it has fit 3 different
horses and I'm doing 50's and one 100 with no saddle
issues. I did find the seat very hard and slick but adding
a saddle cover from Jan solved that issue. I have been told
it's best to locate an older used one as they are better
balanced and made than the newer ones. mine is very
balanced and well put together for an *off the rack*
saddle.

Regards,
Penny
