I think it's fair to say the UAE has bought a lot of horses, established
state of the art equine facilities in their country, learned a lot and have
made a lot of progress since 1996. However, they have been pursuing TB racing
with the same - if not more fervor (not to mention money spent) and and when
they show up at the Kentucky Derby they are usually dead last. So they have
had a lot more success in endurance racing than in TB racing.  The question
sould be why?
