[RC] RC: Suspensory problem - DESERTRYDR1

Has anyone successfully brought a horse back to 50's and more from a
suspensory injury? I'm not yet sure that's the problem, She hung her foot in
some wire while I was riding her and ponying my molly mule. She really
pulled back hard and it took me a minute to get off and untangle her and
Destiny so I could get her loose. She got a couple wire cuts under the
opposite hock so I walked her back to the trailer. When we got home, she had
swelling on the inside of the front leg right under the knee. This happened
a week ago, I have it wrapped, have her in a stall, and have been out
icing/hosing every day. The swelling is greatly reduced, but not gone, and
there is still heat. I take her to an out of town vet for ultra sound on
Tuesday. I have already pretty much figured that the year is shot, but I
would really like to hope that if I take care of this, she can come back to
endurance. Stories? advice? info?
