[RC] mini donkey - Sunset Farm

On the subject of little donkeys, I bought my children a donkey this summer. This was probably the best 325 dollars I have ever spent. He is great with my 6 and 3 year old daughters, infinitely amusing in the pasture, he fetches like a dog, and comes running and hee-hawing when called. And the best feature is his watchdog abilities, no strange car pulls in the driveway with out him announcing it to the world. He might annoy the neighbors but he also keeps their nasty junkyard dog out of "his" pasture with "his" mares. They are great companion animals and cute to look at, and the kids can ride him!!! I have not had any tail chewing or other unwanted behaviors, but he and his horse friends are in a pasture big enough that I only supplement with hay and grain in the wet and cold weather. I would highly recommend a donkey companion for any lonely equine, happy trails, Lynn
