[RC] Dodge truck - oddfarm

Yes, something leaks to the floorboards but the dealership denied it. I think it is the air-conditioner because the floor would be soaking wet after a long trip and using the AC, not after a heavy rain.

There is a recall right now for the throttle linkage. Mine broke in half on a trip to Oconee. So it was replaced once but now they say it could stick and cause rapid and uncontrollable acceleration.

I have a 97 Dodge dually with the Cummins. I love the truck because it FEELS like a truck. However, it can not pull my big trailer as well as our Chevy 2500HD with the Duramax and Allison tranny. Plus, the Chevy has more room inside and is prettier. Not that a truck has to be pretty, but neither does a horse. I would rather ride a fast, functional AND beautiful Arab for miles and miles and same goes for the truck.

I think the Cummins may get a little bit better fuel mileage, but not by much. My husband is putting in (the Dodge) a Banks system, whatever that is, and supposedly I will have more power (pulling) especially in the mountains. I will share that experience if it ever happens. You know how those "Honey Do" lists turn into "Don't bug me about it" lists.
