Re: [RC] earthquake/real estate question - Steven Proe

Hi Folks: After you have spoken to a Real-Estate Agent in any area, you must
still find riders to confirm any information that they may provide to you on
trails.

Give me a thatched house over a > brick one anytime in California!

You say that now...wait till you've got another *fire* headed your way.
g< Glad to hear you all got out O.K. Don't worry, I knew what you meant
by "only two people killed"...you meant it *could* have been a lot worse!

O.K. Change of subject, now I've got a real estate question. I've got a
friend moving to this area who wants me to help her find some land with
trails access. Anyone who has dealt with a real estate agency knows that
"trails access" is not one of the general information catagories they
list with an ad.

I've been trying to search on the net and not having much luck with
finding a good web site. We're searching the area within an approximately
50 mile radius of Chattanooga, TN. I've considered calling the Ag
Extension agents and maybe the ranger for Cherokee National Forest to see
if they were familiar with any land for sale adjoining public land. Do
you all know of any other type agency that might be of help?

Angie (who doesn't worry about fire because I have a huge mud moat around
my property!)
