[RC] [Guest] Re:Are newbies killing horses?? - Ridecamp Moderator

Jan Mills Kennedy jmkennedy@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hooray!!FINALLY someone hit the nail on the head. I have been in the sport since 1977 and I have seen a few horses in trouble and yes..die...all experienced riders. No matter what ya do 'stuff happens' and it usually happens at speed...going too fast. Now back to the new rules for newbies..I have been riding distance since 1977 but just joined AERC last year..am I considered a newbie??I had my reasons for not joining so no flames please..If you are going to determine newbie by Aerc membership status it ain't gonna work..JMO..
Appy Trails
