Endurance and LD rides allow boots during
competition; also pads on hooves and other protective devices. NATRC does
not, or at one time did not, allow protective devices. Not sure of their current
rules.
Is there a place to read endurance rules on the
internet? I was wondering if leg wraps or brushing boots are allowed on
a 25 miler. My horse sometimes brushes her back pasterns and I don't
want her sore.
