Re: [RC] Selenium again - Deanna German

As it turns out, the Equi-S&E is the stuff I was referring to that I thought
wasn't available anymore. I'm not insane, I swear! There's more than one of
us in this area who were trying to find it since it's the most concentrated
and it just wasn't purchasable this time last year, nor in the fall! (I buy
supplements twice a year, usually coinciding with Equine Affaire and Quarter
Horse Congress. >g<) In fact, one of my friends tried to order it from Big
D's (this product was shown in their catalog) and got the cherry-flavored,
2mg per ounce version instead of the more concentrated version.

My friends and I are very appreciative to all who pointed this product out.

When I first inquired of RideCamp re: selenium, Roger Rittenhouse sent a very
nice post recommending Mega-Sel- liquid, smells wonderful, mixes easily,
horses like it- Se is 1 mg /oz, Vit E 50 IU/oz...
I also found, and use, Equ-SeE from K-V as it has 1 mg Se and 220 IU per
teaspoon. About $7/lb...It's powder, mixes easily and in the small amt isnt
noticed by the horses...
Am I missing something here? or is this a very reasonably priced concentrated
supplement? In light of the other posts, I'm now wondering what I've
overlooked...
