[RC] Overhead trailer ties - Karen

 I'd wanted to get one
of the Hi Ties, before I figured out the horse could wrap itself around the
end of the trailer with that free-swinging arm. I'm thinking of getting
the one that has cables that hold it out from the trailer in one place.

...Hi Alison -- the hi-tie arm is not free-swinging. It locks into place and stays stationary in that position. The arm itself if fiberglass, so it is flexible but it is not so flexible that a horse can move it enough to go around the back of their trailer. I have not had my hi-ties all that long, but my horses both have already spent 33 nights a piece on them and I have to say that I love these so much better than anything else I have seen on the market, or tried in the past. I spend a lot of time with my horses tied to the trailer ties, and also next to other people that have various confinement systems. This system is by far the quietest and I just wish that something like this had been available sooner! I love the peace and quiet.
