Re: [RC] - Jennifer Judkins

Sandy, I used an identical set up but with slightly longer screws to fit the Old macs.  All I can tell you is that the female end can get loose and injure the hoof if you lose a screw.  I have plenty of friends using the easyboots who find missing screws at the end of a ride.  Just be careful.  Jennifer.

Jeniffer...Easy boot use Chicago screws to seat their ice studs.  I'm not sure how thick the bottom of the macs are compared to easy boots..but you can order easy boot ice studs and see if they work on your macs..or...get some chicago screws that are the right length to fit.  Easy boots also incorporates a large washer with the srews on the inside of the boot to reduce wear or chance of pulling through.  I never lost a screw with my easy boots.
