[RC] [Guest] Wazirs Karahty - Ridecamp Moderatorwendy lumbert wendy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTo all the folks who never got to see Dolly galloping Karahty across the finish line, never saw him dance like a 2 year old colt at the end of a 100 mile race and win BC hands down, it was a sight to bring tears to your eyes. How do we judge the greatness of a stallion? Is it by his own performance? No stallion in endurance has ever matched Karahty's record of 30 wins, 20 BC. His love of winning was always evident as he flew into the gallop leaving a vet check. Or is it by his progeny, like his son, the stallion Amadeus, who has 10 wins and 8 BC to his name, including 3 Tevis top tens. Or is it the love Karahty gave to his rider, every day of his life when he ran to Dolly, screaming hello and then he would stop and hold his nose up for his morning kiss? This was a horse in 10,000. I am so, so grateful to have my own Karahty babies, each one incredibly athletic, charmingly personable, and so beautiful.
