[RC] Shavings in Trailers - Jonni Jewell

Lisa Ashbach posted:
Shavings do not, IME, improve anything for the horse in the trailer. They
blow around, and are slippery once wet.<<<

I have been using shavings in my trailers for over 20 years. Never slippery.
Those who think they are slippery...do you not have rubber mats on the
floor? I guess if a horse was standing on a wood floor, it might be
true....But then I would never haul a horse without mats down either.(or the
new blow on coating that some use in the aluminum floor trailers)
