[RC] scratches - larry Miller

There is tons of info on scratches in the archives.  Just search for scratches.  In a nut shell, wash the area with antibacterial soap, or a tea tree oil based shampoo.  Rinse, dry, and then slop on whatever mixture you are going to use (Trail rite mixture, prep H, good fungii creme for athlete
foot, or 3 heaping teaspoons of furazon - 2 - 3 in of desitin or zinc oxide - a package of azium from vets, or the dog ear mite stuff from vets).  Wrap, leave alone for 24 hrs, repeat process.  Scratches should be gone in about 3 days.  Then keep checking to make sure area remains clean and scratches free.  Jeanie and Maggie who shudders when mom enters the stall with all the scratches crap
