Please call your vet. before he comes to see you make sure he come with a 
tube of Carra-vet wound gel. I promise you in 3 days
 she will look like a new horse.Moving under thise injuries  is Painful. 
Keep reapplying the gell 2-3 time the first day. 1-2 time a day after 
that.It does not sting. is clear with little fragrance. But it is magic 
juice. having 14yrs in vet med distribution it is the best stuff out
there. The wounds will turn bright red, and runny with serum. That is 
healing. Be carefull sometimes it can turn into proud
flesh so stop when it gets pale pink and no scabs.I have 4-5 arabs at 
any-one time and some one is always getting scrapped.
if I apply a dab as soon as it happens, it is gone in a week,
otherwise it is a month waiting for hair and a scab to fall off.
