We were poor runners, but
excellent riders. Being on the horse was actually relaxing and restful.

My daughter and I were pretty poor runners also. What helped me was having
her saddle on my horse, and the stirrups adjusted two holes too short (again
for her).
By the time I rode the horse a mile, I was good and ready to get off and
start running!

Karen
