The American Shagya Arabian Verband is sponsoring two All Breeds Awards for Shagya bred horses ridden in AERC competitions in 2003.  One award will be for total mileage, and the other a high point placing.  

Owners and riders must contact the AERC office and have the horses breed category changed to Shagya or 1/2 Shagya.  Before there was no category for Shagya bred horses.  The AERC office has no problem changing the breed status.

 Please spread the word if you know of a Shagya bred horse to whom this might apply.  Thank you for your attention.
