Yes but this is not exactly true.  I was there for all of it.  People forget 
that Trilby won races more than a couple of times.  Also, trailering from 
California to Nevada and New Mexico and Oregon is a lot less than trailering 
across the country for "one" ride.  I think that the old way was better but of 
course that is just my opinion.  Try a little test for those of you who were 
around in the 70's and 80's.  Try to think of the names of the national 
champions in the last 3 years or so.............then try to remember the names 
of the national champions 20 and 30 years ago.  I asked the board this same 
question in Phoenix the only one person spoke up, and that was because he was 
one of the winners.......mb
