Another often overlooked source is your neighbors exhaust from their generator or someone running a vehicle to stay warm next to you.
If not plugged in, we use a catalytic heater and need to keep a vent or window open a bit to allow oxygen to get in. Something about the wind direction or temperature differential can suck those fumes right in.

The carbon monoxide came from the fridge and that was the only thing we had on at the time. The fridge was running on propane. This trailer is only 3 years old.
