Perhaps I was unclear when I said that I wished the charter of the HWC was to collect, interpret and utilize data to provide education to the members.

What I intended with that statement was to indicate that if it were up to me (which, of course, it is not) this would be the ONLY directive/goal of the committee.  No collection of informal reports from members with regard to other members who (my interpretation) "need a talking to."

And I do not like, personally, the ideas of sanctions on members who have had a horse treated or die.  (Not suggesting that has been the HWC's idea.)

Your article in EN was an excellent example of what I had hoped the committee would be doing exclusively.
