I recently bought the Timex GPS watch (*NOT* from the Timex site) and just
love it.  It tells you your current speed and distance traveled -- and your
average speed, high speed, low speed, has an odometer so you can keep track
of how far you've traveled in a week, a month, a year.  It is just too cool!
I got the 50 lap as I'm not really interested in laps.

I ride in the woods a lot and was afraid it wouldn't work there, but it
does.  I think it gets info off of 24 satellites.  I'm really pleased with
it.

 Will only give time distance a d speed - NO way points no download.

 Seems to be easy to use then regular GPS.. of course there is no
 track back map. It a tool for ONE purpose - to tell you how far you
 have gone and how fast... seems all I really need to know.

create a waypoint each time I change directions(painful) or will it act like
an odometer, just measureing mileage.  All I want is
