[RC] Riding Cavalry - Deanna German



Have endurance rides in 25, 50 and 100 miles -- but the horse and rider are
a team.  No pit crews.  That's what I said, NO pit crews.

Bonnie, impose a "time window" with a scoring system based on condition of
the horse rather than making it a race and you have a sport called
"competitive trail riding". One of the challenges of CTR is the rider having
to do everything -- it's exhausting!

You did cause some neurons to connect for me, however...

I would love to see FEI and international competitions conducted purely as
cavalry events. How fast would that get rid of the "jockeys"? >g<
