PRESS RELEASE - 19th September 2003 NORWAY MAKES AN EARLY START The FEI Emirates Airline Open European Endurance Championships got underway at 0530 this morning. The terrain on the first loop is quite rocky and all the horses appear to be coping well. The first horse in to the Vet Gate was no 66 Ellen SUHR (NOR) with the UAE team close behind. The French and Italian teams followed the UAE team in to the vet gate ? it all is very tight at this stage The support crews are playing a vital role and include Princess Haya of Jordan who was at the water point handing water to the UAE team.
