Re: [RC] Suitability to become an endurance horse (was: Calm& Cool) - John Teeter

I have brought plenty of horses to their first endurance rides (even the famed Santini that John Teeter mentioned :)), and I have taken plenty of horses to their first competitive events that are not endurance rides. =================================================

That would be the Great Santini:) Thanks to Kat's watchful eye (she saved him from the canners:) and patient start. He has gone on to @2000 miles (he's 15 now), 6-7BCs (one this year and a close call at the PacSouth Challenge:) a bunch of multidays (including the 2001XP) -

He's like riding a little egg-beater, but he loves to go!!

Could be the sleeper at PanAms! -- the Santini-Biscuit of endurance !!:)
