Megan, guess you did not get Chris's missile.  Cuneo Creek if that is what you are talking about is closed down as of Sept 2 I believe due to lack of state funds, and will only open up on Friday and Saturday for the ride  (maybe Sunday A.M.
 
Check with Chris and see if anything has changed.

Yes you can come up the Thursday before the ride. Many people did that this past year.
