RE: [RC] [Guest] Endurance, CTR, & Quarterhorses - Christina Schiro

I just bought an appy to do endurance & CTR with. The majority of the
horsepeople in my area do CTR v ER, so CTR is probably what I will focus on.
In talking with these folks, it sounds like about 1/2 of the CTR horses are
NOT arabs. Also, I heard that arabs are not that great for CTR because they
like to go, go, go, and CTR you have to go, then stop (to do the trail
obstacles) go, then stop, etc.

Just wondering how many people out there got started riding a QH. I'm
considering buying a young gelding who has an awesome mind. My daughter is
interested in getting into Endurance & CTR with him? Any thoughts on how
he will hold up from a breed perspective?
