even though i compete with MORGANS-and you would be surprised how many QT'S have MORGAN blood in them-you can compete in endurance with as much suggest as that other breed.if the gelding you are interested in has a sound body and quiet mind and is eager to go down the trail then put in the miles and go do it.i never have done 25 milers i do my practice at home and save my precious few dollars for the rides that count for national and lifetime miles.there have been a few QT out there that i know of dot wiggins had a stallion and a dr.from nm-mike with seven heart bar rode with me on an outlaw ride-she was a top ten horse.good luck with your american horse!joan
